Children's progress is reviewed between ages 2 and 3 by an early years practitioner or health visitor. The review is designed to identify development and support needs.
What should parents do?
Share what you notice at home and ask questions if you are unsure about an area of development. A progress check is not a school exam.
If a concern is identified, the adults supporting your child can discuss appropriate next steps.
