Children become toilet trained at different ages. Starting nursery does not mean a child must already be fully toilet trained.
Talk to the setting
Ask how staff support toileting, what happens after an accident and what clothing is easiest for your child to manage.
Consistency between home and nursery can help, but avoid turning toileting into a source of pressure or embarrassment.
